After a social media check is completed, the results are compiled into a report. This report is designed to clearly show any flagged content found on the applicant's public social media profiles.

Explanation of results
The report will show the following information related to Social Media check.
Confirmed profiles
This section lists all the social media profiles that were identified as belonging to the applicant. Each profile includes a hyperlink to the live social media account.
Total flags
This section shows the total number of adverse flags found across all confirmed profiles. A flag indicates a post that meets predefined criteria for potentially concerning content.
Social media posts
This section shows a breakdown of each flagged post, organized by category (for example: Hate Speech, Nudity, Violence, etc.). For each post, the following details are provided:

URL
A direct link to the original post on the social media platform. -
Post type
Indicates whether the content was:- Original: posted by the applicant, or
- Repost: shared or reposted from another user.

Post
Displays the text content of the post, if applicable.- If the post only includes an image or media without text, you will see two dashes (--) like in the example below.
Note: It’s possible the applicant has other social media accounts that were not identified in the production of this report. The applicant may also use other names and identifiers in Social Media profiles. Therefore, there may be potentially adverse information regarding the applicant that was not found during the research.
Next steps
Once a Social Media check is complete, review the check results from CertnCentric by selecting Cases from the navigation menu and then selecting the relevant case. Once you’ve reviewed the results of the Social Media check and any other checks in the case, you can record your decision concerning the case.
