In this article, you'll learn about the documents required to complete the Australian Federal Police (AFP) checks that Certn offers through Intercheck Global Pty Ltd (Certn InterCheck) which is part of the Certn Group. InterCheck is authorised by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to conduct criminal record checks.
How does it work?
Before starting your Australian Federal Police (AFP) check, you'll need to prepare required identity documents. AFP checks have a “100 point system” for identity documents. Each type of identity document is awarded a number of points based on the information provided by the AFP. One primary document, such as a full birth certificate or passport, must be provided with your application. You can only use each identity document once. All documents must be provided in English or with an official translation. The combination of the identity documents you provide must total 100 points.
What you'll need:
In order to maintain the most up to date information, Certn refers to the documentation provided directly by the Australian Federal Police (AFP). In order to see a full breakdown of which documents are currently accepted, please navigate to the National Police Check 100 Points Checklist listed on the AFP official website.

Note: You may choose to provide only primary documents to bring the total points to 100. You may also use a combination of primary and secondary documents to meet this requirement.
