Explanation of results
Bankruptcy check results will contain one of three possible outcomes:
- Clear, No Match Found
- Review, Results Found
- Review, Unable to Complete
On the report, you will be able to view the following information for each country that the check was run in:
-
Search Details: The Search Details section will show the name(s) and date of birth of the applicant used to conduct the search. If Current Name Only was selected when ordering the check, then only the applicant’s current name will show (as this is the only name included in our search), even if they provided previous names on the application. Likewise, if Include Previous Names was selected, and the applicant provided previous known names, then the Search Details will show all names we have run the search on.
-
Result Details: Within the Result Details section you will be able to see:
- Alerts: Alerts will highlight anything you need to review, for example if an applicant has active or satisfied bankruptcy findings.
- Details: If the outcome was ‘Results Found’ you will be able to see details relating to the findings, including the court details, date filed, claim amount, and status.
- Source evidence: If there is a document or certificate available from the source, it will be attached to the report.
