Create an order
Checks can be ordered directly through CertnCentric using one of three options:
- À la carte: Build a one-off order by selecting the individual checks you need.
- Bundle: Order a Bundle, which is displayed at the top of the ordering screen. What was previously referred to as an SLA is now referred to as a Bundle. Bundles contain previously negotiated pricing for multiple checks.
- Package: Select an existing Package or create a new one. Packages allow you to combine sets of checks that you order frequently, making it easier to reuse the same combination of checks for future orders.
How to create an order
- Select New order from your CertnCentric home page.
- Choose how you would like to build your order:
- Select an existing Bundle or Package.
- Select Build your own to create an à la carte order by choosing individual checks.

Review your order
The review step of the order process gives you the opportunity to see a preview of the email applicants will receive as well as an order summary.
The order summary details the cost of each check, the cost per applicant being sent the checks, and the subtotal cost in your account’s currency.
This page outlines the pass-through access fees that may apply to various checks. These fees are billed after the check has been ordered and completed and will appear as additional charges on your invoice.
Cancel an order
Self-Serve Check Cancellation allows client Admins and Managers to cancel a submitted background check directly from the Client Cases page. All case actions can be accessed by clicking on the 3 dots on each Case row.
