Submitted or expired background checks cannot be edited. Submitted background checks are either processing, in dispute, or complete. Expired background checks have passed the date by which they were to be completed and can be archived. In this article, you’ll learn more about how these background checks appear in your Certn applicant portal dashboard.
Submitted or expired background check statuses
You can see previous background checks in the History section on your applicant portal dashboard. You can scroll through the list, or select one of the filters to see specific invitations:
- All shows all of your past background check invitations including archived, declined, or in dispute background checks.
- Processing shows background checks you submitted that are now processing.
- Complete shows background checks that are finished processing.
In the History section, you can expand a background check to view more details. Expand and collapse its details by selecting the arrow button.
Expand background checks in the History section to see when the check was submitted, processed, and completed and whether the check is currently in dispute. Learn more about disputing background check results in the Can I dispute my results? help article.
