We use a third-party provider, Minerva, to support PEPs, Sanctions, and Adverse Media checks. Their platform is continuously updated to reflect the most current data sources and to remain aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. In addition to these updates, we periodically review and adjust our search thresholds and matching parameters. This allows us to optimise for accuracy and maintain a very low margin for both false positives and false negatives. It’s also important to note that adverse media results are influenced by the broader online ecosystem. Search engine indexing changes over time, new content is published, and existing content may be updated, moved, or removed. Additionally, data sources may be added or deprecated as part of ongoing improvements.
As a result of these combined factors, you may occasionally notice some variation in results from month to month. This is expected and reflects continuous improvements to both the underlying data and how searches are performed.
