How to complete a Digital Right to Work & DBS ID Verification on Yoti

Certn (UK) conduct Right to Work and DBS ID Verification checks online via Yoti. Yoti are a certified IDSP (Identity Service Provider) for verifying identity and right to work in the UK. This process should take no longer than a few minutes to complete.

Documents we accept:

Please be advised that Certn (UK) can only conduct a Digital Right to Work check if you have a UK/Irish passport. If your passport isn’t issued by UK/Ireland, please let Certn (UK) know.

Important Tips:

• The document must be valid and in date.
• You will be asked to take a selfie as well as photo of your ID document (scans or attachments will not be accepted). Make sure camera permissions are enabled on your laptop or phone. 
• Try to get a clear image without any glare – for best results, please use your smartphone.
• Make sure you capture the whole ID document in the image, including the two lines of letters and numbers at the bottom.  

• Check your ID photo and details aren't covered and hold the document straight.
• You can save your progress and return at a later point. 
• Link expires after 1 week – Please contact Certn (UK) for a new link if yours has expired.

Steps to follow:

4. Take a photo of your ID document. Please make sure it’s clear and all the information is readable, then click “Yes, upload”. If you’re unable take a clear photo on the first go, please try again before uploading.
    

• Please note, if you chose to upload your passport or biometric residence card for DBS ID verification, the next step will require you to confirm your current, registered address.

   

• If you uploaded your driving licence, the address will be scanned automatically. You will be required to confirm if your driving licence is registered to your current address. If it is not, please answer ‘no’ and follow the instructions on the screen.

5. To confirm it’s you, we’ll ask you to take a quick scan of your face. Please follow the instructions on screen to position your face in the oval and move towards the screen when asked.

Tips:

• Find an area with good lighting.
• Position your camera at eye level.

6. That’s it – the screen will confirm that you have provided al the required information and you can now exit.
