Having trouble logging in to your Certn account? Learn how to reset your password, troubleshoot account access issues, and regain access if your account credentialing is incomplete.
This article is for clients who have already created a Certn account but cannot access it. If you're unsure which platform you're using, see How to identify your Certn platform.
How do I reset my Certn password?
If you've forgotten your password or can't sign in to your Certn account, follow these steps:
- Go to the Certn login page.
- Select Forgot your password.
- Enter the email address associated with your Certn account.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email.
- Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password and regain access to your account.
Note: If you don't receive the password reset email, check your spam or junk folder.
Why can't I log in after creating a Certn account?
If you've recently created a Certn account but can no longer log in, your account credentialing may be incomplete.
Account credentialing is the process Certn uses to verify your business and its eligibility to order background checks.
If additional information or documentation is required, Certn will contact you by email. If you don't respond, your account access may be restricted.
To regain access:
- Check your email for any requests from Certn for additional business information or documentation.
- Respond to any outstanding requests to help complete the credentialing process.
- Review our Account credentialing article for more information about account restrictions and restoring access.
