The Certn dashboard requires property managers to organize their checks according to their buildings and then by listings. Follow these instructions to add a new building and listing to your account.
- From the Certn dashboard, click on the “Buildings” tab, then click on “Add a building”.
- Enter the required details for the building.
Note: You can use the (optional) Building Code unique identifier as a cross-reference index to any internal codes/numbers you may use for your buildings. You also have the option to create a custom descriptive application link.

Create a listing for the newly added building by going to the “Buildings” tab, selecting the "Actions" on the far right of the building list item, and then “Create Listing”. (Alternatively, you can create the listing from the "Listings" tab; if you have multiple buildings, make sure that the correct “Target building” has been selected from your list of buildings.)

Fill out the listing details.
You can now send out background check invitations to your prospective tenants.
