Update: Faster Sanctions & Media Checks + New Standalone PEP Check: April 2025

Notice effective: April 11, 2025

We’ve improved our screening tools to help you get results faster and with greater clarity.

What has changed?

• Sanctions and Negative Media checks are now automated, resulting in even faster turnaround times (within minutes!)
• The Politically Exposed Person (PEP) check is now presented as a standalone result on your report, separate from the Sanctions check.

Do I need to do anything?

No actions are required on your part.These updates are being rolled out automatically and will be applied to your account over the coming week.

• If you’re already ordering the Sanctions check, the standalone PEP check is included at no extra cost.

What will I notice?

As a result of these improvements, you will notice:

• Faster result delivery
• A small format change in the attached results within each case

If you would prefer not to include the PEP check, contact our customer support team, and we will be happy to help you remove it. 

When will these changes be available?

Automated fulfillment is already available in Core for the following checks: Global Watchlist & Sanctions (GWS), Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), and Adverse Media (AM). We will continue to roll this out in stages to include more checks. If it hasn’t reached your cases yet, hang tight — it’s on the way soon.
