Why might my background check results be incorrect?
In some cases, background check reports may contain information that belongs to another person with similar identifying details, such as the same name and date of birth.
For example, some background checks recommend providing a Social Insurance Number (SIN) or Social Security Number (SSN), but do not require it. If this information is not provided, there is a possibility that records belonging to someone with similar personal information could appear in your report.
If you believe your background check contains information that does not belong to you or is otherwise inaccurate or incomplete, contact Certn Support or submit a dispute using the form above.
