What's changing?
You no longer need to contact Customer Support to order a check, create an SLA, create a unit or add a user. You can do it all directly from your client portal.
Questions about processes, turn around times or how to accomplish things within CertnCentric? You can use the AI chatbot located in the bottom right corner of your client portal or this help article.
If you do require assistance, you’ll have a dedicated point of contact on our Customer Support team. Please refer to your migration email for your dedicated support contact details. You can also email uk-support@certn.co to find out more.
Setting up your new platform
Certn's goal is to provide the same or better functionality than the previous platform. Some workflows may look different, but if you find a feature you rely on is missing or changed, let us know.
Certn will automatically migrate some important information into your new client portal, such as users, units and SLAs. There are a few important changes to terminology that will be of note:
- Units are now referred to as Groups: You can organise your cases into groups without requiring set-up and support from Certn support. Sub-units will no longer be available.
- New Packages enable you to combine sets of checks that you use most frequently.
- What was previously referred to as SLAs is now referred to as Bundles. These are previously negotiated discounts for multiple checks.
Checks can be ordered self-serve through CertnCentric.
The process for Employment, Education and Experience Verification checks is largely automated on CertnCentric. Set up a Verification template to customize what is requested of the applicant.
How do I access my historical data?
You have read only access to the Core (Certn UK Portal). Checks in progress on the Core (Certn UK Portal) will continue and results will be accessible in the previous platform. You will be required to download all reports and certificates for cases in the Core (Certn UK Portal).
Read this Certn Help guide for more information on downloading historical reports.
